With sadness, we share the passing of Joy Howe (Des Moines, Iowa). Joy, born on November 12, 1934, passed away on June 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Rayburn and Ruby Frances Rayburn (Graham); and her siblings, Monte Rayburn, Janet Norris, Gail LePera, Iona Rayburn and Marjorie Rayburn.
She is survived by: her husband Dale; her children, Scot Howe (Stacy), Alan Howe (Julie), Gary Howe (Julie Freese) and Daleen Snyder (Bill); her grandchildren, Brandt Howe (Alexas), Brandon Howe, Emily Luke (Thomas), Colin Howe, Charis Leonard (Sean), Alicia Grijalva (Josh) and Alex Toledo; her sister Joyce McClellan (Don); and her brothers-in-law, Frank LePera and George Norris. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews along with extended family.
