Julia May Williams Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia May Williams of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on September 30, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Iris Deskin (Yeater) and Jack Deskin; her husband Lee Williams; her daughter Holly Williams; her brothers, Jack and Tim Deskin; and her sister-in-law Beryl Deskin.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Williams (Ed Mahlberg) of Des Moines and Michael Williams of Des Moines; her granddaughter Emily Nelson Williams of Waterloo; and her siblings, Jill Ferguson (Jim) of Clive, William Deskin (Pat) of Winston Salem and Doug Deskin of Albuquerque.
In accordance with her wishes, her family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Rescue, Rehab, Rehome and/or the Iowa Democratic Party.
