Karen A. Wells Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen A. Wells (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul LaVerne Brown and Ruth Arlene Brown (Bradfield) of Stockport, Iowa.; her husband Larry Wells; and her brother Kenneth LaVerne Brown. She is survived by: her children, Nathan Wells (Kim), Tina Payton (Lonnie) and Cynthia Villalobos (Jason); her grandchildren, Jay (Paige), Morgan (Jon), Elizabeth (Collin), Kelsee (Zach) and Preston (Kasie); her great grandchildren, Hayden, Alina, Daphnie, Branson, Graeson, Laura Belle and Evelyn; and her siblings, Karyl Adam (Don), Keith Brown, Kristine Cass (Lary), Kermit Brown (Anna), Kent Brown (Sue) and Kevin Brown (Margie). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Stockport Christian Church (217 S Main St, Stockport, IA 52651). She was entrepreneur of RSVP, a business venture where she worked in her natural habitat, excelling in flower design and cake decorating, planning and overseeing weddings and receptions.
