She is survived by: her husband Dennis Mason Jr.; her children, Christopher Mason and Katie Mason (Scott Kaplan); her granddaughter Averi; her parents, John Vandrew and Joan Vandrew; and her siblings, Harold Scott (Marilee), Danny Scott (Kathy) and Carrie Corbett (Clark). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Pine Hill Cemetery (470 NW 54th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
