He was predeceased by: his daughter Heather Fick of Norwalk, Iowa.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Ahlberg; his children, Tyler Fick (Lindsay) of Overland Park, Troy Fick (Lyndsey) of West Des Moines and Courtney Fick of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Jordan, Ella, Camden, James and Henry; his parents, LeRoy Fick and Gloria Fick of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; his siblings, Doug Fick of Des Moines and Roxy Lane (Rusty) of Norwalk, Iowa; and his pet Lucy Goose. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for support of newly diagnosed cancer patients through the Pink Tractor Foundation located in St. Charles, Iowa in loving memory of Kenny.
