He is survived by: his children, Larry Beem, Lara Bunkers (Dan) and Loren Beem (Lisa). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel (3211 Hubbell Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Carlisle Cemetery (1200 S 5th St, Carlisle, IA 50047).
