It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Willis (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Larry has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Willis and Faye Willis; and his sister Jan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Casey (Karen); his granddaughters, Grace and Lily; his brother-in-law Dick Hansell; and his niece Mindy Wright (Dan).

Memorial contributions may be directed to his family in creating a fund to support memory care, health professionals and caregivers.
