We are sad to announce that, on March 17, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Lei Freed (Des Moines, Iowa). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Lei's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Lei's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She is survived by: her daughter Lena Hendricks (Max); her granddaughter Layonna Boley; her parents, Linda Gear and Terry Freed (Donna); and her siblings, Lesa Bambrook (Curt), Lynne Gillen, Shelly Baker and Terry Freed II (Maria). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Lei.
