She was predeceased by : her parents, Norris Soma and Eveline Soma (Johnson); and her siblings, Dorothy Barkema, Muriel Durant, Eleanor Pals, Betty Dorenkamp, Shirley Pals and Charles Soma.

She is survived by : her husband James Beisner; her children, Carole Henning (Kent) of Waukesha, WI, Jeffrey Beisner (Diane) of Waukee and Leslie Beisner (Marit) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Alissa Beisner of Waukee, Jessica Beisner of Ankeny, Audrey Torcaso (Joseph) of Kenosha, WI, Julia Moon (Conor) of Waukesha, WI, Noah Beisner of Cedar Falls and Luke Beisner of Cedar Falls; her great grandchildren, Santino and Valentina Torcaso of Kenosha, WI; her brother Gilman Soma of Belmond; and her sister-in-law Phebe Soma (Watne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (304 3rd Ave NE, Belmond, IA 50421). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams or the Alzheimer's Association.
