She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Zubrod and Rita Zubrod (Mishak); and her sister Ella Mae Adams. She is survived by : her husband Francis; her children, Craig Carney, Camie Carney, Cary Carney (Kathy) and Cayla Carney (Karen); her grandchildren, Sayer, Shea, Nick, Daylan and Carson; and her sister Phyllis Kvidera. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 4:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ss John & Paul Catholic Church (1401 1st Ave S, Altoona, IA 50009). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
