She was predeceased by: her parents, Duc Rasavanh and Gion Rasavanh; her brothers, Thinh and Thanh Quang; her parents-in-law, Loune and Chap Baccam; and her sister-in-law Ting Luu.
She is survived by: her husband Viengthong Baccam (Thong); her daughters, Dr. Gabby Unkrich (Tyson), Selena Menke (Dylan) and Katerina Baccam; her granddaughter Ellie Menke; her siblings, Paul Pierron (Khamphiou), Bounmy Ounlokham (Sai), Thiene Vong (Pan), Vilay Nguyen (Vinh), Viviene Lam (Michael) and Tony Rasavanh; and her brothers-in-law, Khamphone Baccam, Khampheuy Baccam (Bounsoung), Khamphoui Baccam (Debbie), Khamphai Baccam and Khamphuy Baccam (Lavanh). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was also a founding member of the Tai United Foundation, helping raise awareness and promote education about the Tai Dam community among Iowans.
