He is survived by: his former wife Laura Lair Nelson; his wife Colleen Ewers; his children, Jennifer Ewers of Urbandale and Ryan Ewers (Rhoda); his granddaughter Audrey of Overland Park, KS; his stepson Marc Seemann (Chelsey); his granddaughter Frances; his stepdaughter Lauren Seemann (John); his grandsons, Forest and Charles; and his siblings, Cindy Ewers (Christine) of Dixon, NM and Tom Ewers (Tammy) of Redington Shores, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
