It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ann Knop of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn Ann Knop to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Stielow and Verna Stielow; her brothers, Dean Stielow, Don Stielow and Gary Stielow; her husband Delbert Knop; and her son Tom Knop.
She is survived by: her daughter Carla Miller; her grandchildren, Anna Ryan (Anson), Joseph Knop (Ashley), Adam Knop (Kristen), Kaitlyn Scott (Skylar) and Michael Miller; and her brother Ken Stielow (Donna). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Luther Memorial Church (1201 Grandview Ave, Des Moines, IA 50316).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
