He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Jones and Coral Jones (Frakes); his brother Patrick Jones; his sister-in-law Susan Jones; and his mother-in-law Maxine Goetsch.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his sons, Nicholas (Angie) and Christopher Jones (Krysten); his grandchildren, Lidia and Reese; his siblings, Carole Weaver and Scott Jones; and his sisters-in-law, Deb Fisk (Jed) and Danette Botts (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home (105 4th St SW, Altoona, IA 50009). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (3857 E 42nd St, Des Moines, IA 50317).
