She was predeceased by: her parents, George Peterson and Ruth Peterson; her sister Cledia; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her husband Danny Rude; her brother George Peterson (Chris); and her children, David Whitmore, Timothy Whitmore, Ruth Doidge (Michael), Christina Newbury (Terry) and Christopher Whitmore. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
