It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Kaye Klemish in Des Moines, Iowa, born in Red Oak, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert "Bob" Van Aernam; her husband Cleon Klemish; her mother Mary Van Aernam; her brother Dick; her sister-in-law Carol Van Aernam; and her nephew Bob Van Aernam.
She is survived by: her children, James Klemish (Amy) and Mary Beth Martin (Donny); and her grandsons, Jacob Martin and Joseph Martin. She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church (804 5th St, Adair, IA 50002). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery (804 5th St, Adair, IA 50002).
