She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Peterson and Lorraine Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Ty Green, Anthony Peterson and Nicole Butler (Troy); her grandchildren, Aalaysha, Paxton, Mira, Abram, Ellie, Brielle, Anthony Jr. and Amarra; and her siblings, Gary (Patty), Gloria (David), Orville and Rashelle. She is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
