With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Anderson of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on September 13, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Rae (Clouse) and Dean Anderson. He is survived by: his siblings, Ron (Polly) of Ankeny, IA and Kelly Krabbe (Kevin) of Salida, Colorado; his aunt Martha Caulkins of Nashville, TN; and his uncle Bud Anderson (Kyung Ja) of Largo, Florida.. He is also survived by his niece and nephews and great nieces and nephews, six cousins.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery.
