He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Bell and Clymontine Bell (Steward). He is survived by: his wife Malissa Bell (Johnson); his siblings, Mary Austin (Jerome), Dr. Benjamin Bell (Julie), John Bell, John Curtis Bell and Brice Nichols; and his godchildren, Missy Carter, Nadine Veasley, Takira Smith, Selena Newbill and Sa'Liyah Banks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the 17th St Church of God in Christ (1639 E University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50316). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at 2500 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311.
