It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael James Cox (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Cox and Lois W. Cox; his brother-in-law Tim Smith; and his great-nephew Rylan Ogden. He is survived by: his sisters, Susan Smith (late Tim) and Deanna Scripture (Tom); his nieces, Sunny Breed (Tim), Britta Ogden (Matt), Kelli Smith, Meghan Weltman (Brian) and Kelsey Scripture; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lily, Luella, Ryker, Elijah, Marlon and Jonah.
