In the sacred silence of farewell, Mildred is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Brown and Willie Mae Brown (Jarrell); her husband Eugene White; and her brother Howard Brown. She is survived by: her sons, Virgil White (Sylvia) and Maurice White (Sherri). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many beloved friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maplestreet Missionary Baptist Church (1552 Maple St, Des Moines, IA 50316). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Street Missionary Baptist Church (1552 Maple St, Des Moines, IA 50316).
