Norma Pennington Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Pennington (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard B. Sydnes and Theresa Sydnes (Halverson); her former husband Victor R. Eliason; her husband Ray Pennington; her siblings, Richard J. Sydnes and Irma H. Elliott; her foster sister Helen Ruth Burgan (Donald); and her stepdaughter Deborah Schrader (Rick).

She is survived by: her stepdaughter Rebecca Jerwens (James); her nieces, Cheri Rogers and Bette Jean Cramer; her stepgranddaughter Sara Daniels (Seth); her cousin Mary Reagh; and her close friend Mary Cook. She is also survived by great nieces; great nephews; step great grandchildren.
