She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Burns and Marge Burns (Overturf). She is survived by: her children, Jen Corkrean (Patrick) of Des Moines and Andi Laine (Jamie) of Norwalk; and her grandchildren, Kate, Erin Corkrean, Will, Max and Lily Laine.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Of Hope Lutheran Church (925 Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A reception will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Echo Valley Country Club (3150 Echo Valley Dr, Norwalk, IA 50211).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bidwell Riverside Center.
