He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patterson Sr. and Priscilla Patterson; and his siblings, Jeanmarie Marthaler (Robert) and Daniel Patterson. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Patterson (Jennifer) and Mark Patterson (Jessica); his grandchildren, Maxwell, Finn, Cameron and Margo; and his siblings, Frances Grund (Jack) and John Patterson (Nellie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
