It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Jerome Lakers (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Peter Lakers; his nephew Joey Lakers; and his brother-in-law Aaron Nieland. He is survived by: his parents, Ruth Lakers and Joseph Lakers; his wife Stacy; his children, Frances Howard (Carson), William Lakers (Danielle) and Thomas Griffin Lakers; his parents-in-law, Larry and Karan Nieland; his siblings, Anna Kieliszewski (Ken) and Ray Lakers; and his siblings-in-law, Corina Lakers, Anthony Nieland, Janet Nieland and Allison Lunk (Glenn). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, cousins.
