Olson (Des Moines, Iowa), born in West Allis, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram Olson and Lewene Olson (Amundson); his sister Ann; his brother-in-law Logan Carter; and his parents-in-law, James and Connie DeVries.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne DeVries Howard; his daughter Jamie Howard Andrianotahina (Aina); his grandsons, Donovan and Dom Andrianotahina; his daughter Lorissa Sheeks; his granddaughters, Abbie and Anna Sheeks; his brother Robert Olson (Jane); his nieces and nephews, Kristin Elderding (Ryan), Amy Olson, Tom Carter (Leah) and Ben Carter (Stacey); his brothers-in-law, Jim DeVries (Judy), Joe DeVries (Rita), Jay DeVries (Charlotte) and Jon DeVries; Jamie and Lorissa Howard. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Westkirk Presbyterian Church.
