She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Norman Boyer, Mike Wilson, Susan Smith and Ronald Grant; her aunt Alisa Yeazel; and her cousin Trevor Boyer.
She is survived by: her parents, Lori Stone (Kenny) and Dan Smith; her son Mason Wesley Grant; her husband Wesley Grant; her siblings, Taryn Smith, Jay Young, Archer Young-Stone (Olive), Rhy Stone, Julianna Stone and Lilly Stone; her grandparents, Barbara Wilson, Phil Smith, Pat Baumgard, Melody Howard, Becky Brown and Cindy Grant; her stepfather Bryan Young; her parents-in-law, Jeanna and Patrick Grant; her siblings-in-law, Kelsey Grant and Tyler Grant (Paige); and her nephew Cooper Grant. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Berean Church (5299 E University Ave, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327).
In honor of Payton's most precious love, the family asks that donations be made to Mason Grant, care of Wesley Grant.
