He was predeceased by: his father Phillip "Buck" Raymond Brown; his siblings, Nathan Brown and Sarah J. Brown; his grandparents, Mary Strode, Raymond "Buck" Brown (Annabelle) and Gladys Cardenas; and his father-in-law Jerry Young.

He is survived by: his mother Kellie Brown (Strode) of Pleasant Hill; his wife Stephanie Young of Des Moines; his son Ace Joseph Guy Brown of Des Moines; his mother-in-law Teresa Young of Seymour; his aunts, Tina McMahon (Tug) of Centerville, Zip McDaniel (Randy) of Des Moines, Iowa, Deborah Senne of Des Moines, Iowa, Kelly Cockerham of Des Moines, Iowa and Kim Brandt of Des Moines, Iowa; and his brothers-in-law, Jerel Young (Samantha) of Corydon and Jaron Young (Jacey) of Unionville, Missouri.
