It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Aaron Wachter of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Wachter; and his grandmother Leona. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Wachter, Wyatt Wachter, Coletin Wachter and Lily Wachter; his mother Carolyn Wachter; his siblings, Brian Smith (Trish), Eric Wachter, Kyle Wachter (Kristin), Amy Schuchhardt (Andrew) and Sarah Goode (J. D.); his fiancée Angela Lincoln; and his fiancée's child Jaden Tennant.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in memory of Phil may be given to the family to help with expenses.
