He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Marcella Breeding and George Breeding; and his siblings, Robert Breeding, Lois Davis and Patricia Houseman.
He is survived by: his fiancée Mary Ann Zagnoli; his children, Julie Breeding (Mike) and Raymond Lee Breeding II (Ann); and his siblings, Dennis Breeding (Linda) and Sharon Schropp (Steve). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (612 E 18th St, Des Moines, IA 50316).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to St. Peter Catholic Church in memory of Raymond.
