The memory of Raymond Hilken in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hilken (Margaret Hilken) and Atzenhoefer; his wife La Vonn; and his siblings, Richard, Russell and Hazel.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Ray (Judy); his grandchildren, Colby, Christopher and Chandler; his sons, Rob and Dale; his grandson Dalton; and also Shannon. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Urbandale Chapel (8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA 50322). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church (5625 Franklin Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310).
