We bid farewell to Richard Cross (Des Moines, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 25, 2025 at the age of 61. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his sister Christina "Tina" Gilliland; and his grandparents, Crespin, Emily Galvan, Thomas A. and Josephine Cross.
He is survived by: his wife Bethany; his sons, Mason Cross (Marissiah), Marshall Cross and Myles Cross; his parents, Thomas Sr. Cross and Linda Cross; and his siblings, Archie Cross, Thomas Jr. Cross (Melinda) and Lynnette Bullock. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
