With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Easter in Des Moines, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Richard left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Easter and Flora Easter. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Easter; and his sister Judy Miller (Tom). He is also survived by two daughters; two step-children; one grandchild; five step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
A burial will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery (34024 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003).
