He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. Gordley and Evelyn Gordley (Wendt); and his wife Debra Gordley. He is survived by: his children, Rick Gordley (Tammie), Terri Cooper (Tom) and Rico Starling (Nicole); his sisters, Jan Gordley (Glenn Goldstein) and Wendy Boylan (Mike); his siblings-in-law, Denise Miller (Ryan), Brenda Turnage (Jerry) and Steven Holt; and his dachshund Siegfried (Siegi). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Methodist Church (4200 E 25th St, Des Moines, IA 50317).
