He was predeceased by: his father Lewis Higday; his stepmother Helen Higday (Wing); his sister Beverly Mowery; and his niece Kathy Tomlinson. He is survived by: his wife Jude Higday; his children, Lisa Butler Higday and Richard Higday (Silvia); his brother-in-law Dick Mowery; his nephews, Steven Mowery (Brenda) and Ernie Tomlinson; his sisters-in-law, Jean Shawver and Jan Shawver; his nephews, Perry Shawver (Channon) and Mike Shawver; and his close friends, Craig and Joelle Logemann.
