He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hunter-Cummings and Melvin Sheffler; his daughter Jennifer Lewiston; his granddaughter Evie Lewiston; and his siblings, Robert and Dorothy Sheffler.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Sheffler; his daughter Marissa Sheffler; his sister Deborah Aldrich; his son-in-law Jay Lewiston; and his grandsons, Alec and Aksel Lewiston.
