He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Clair Simpson and Martha Barbara Simpson (Accola). He is survived by: his wife Karen Simpson; his children, Denise Doepp (Larry), Kathryn Green (Scott) and Michael Simpson (Angela); and his brother Lyle Simpson (Janet). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
