Richard Spencer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Spencer (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spencer and Thelma Spencer (Burt); and his brother Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Janice Spencer (Kruger); his children, Bill Spencer, Roland Spencer, Howard Spencer (Michelle), Mary Allen (Frank) and Stephanie Rice (Thomas); his sister Mary "Janie" Blaylock; and his pets, Dolly, Mama Kitty, Dakota and Cy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren plus one on the way; many nieces and nephews.
