He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Wagler and Ruth Stinson Wagler; and his brothers, Gene Wagler and Scott Wagler Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Wagler; his children, Adam Wagler of Lincoln, Michael Wagler (Claire Richmond) of Des Moines and Ellie Stewart-Wagler (Winston) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Carter Wagler-Stewart, Aria Stewart, Finnean Wagler and Hutchinson Wagler; and his sister Marsha Jarrett of Des Moines. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Davis County Dollars for Scholars.
