He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Hirschman (Kelli) of Aurelia, Iowa, Renee Conley (Dan) of Cherokee and Jan Koch (Peter) of Austin; his nieces and nephews, Kati Gorman (Brian), Amy Schumann (Lyle), Jessica Koch, Tyson Conley (Julia), Jon Conley, Nick Hirschman (Ugo) and Christopher Koch; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Coy, Bryn Lewis, Graysen, Hudsen, Samsen Schumann, Ella, Duke Gorman, Theo, Alivia Conley, Cale, Ada Conley and Ike Hirschman; Sue Hirschman of Fort Dodge, Iowa. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to them for a future project in Rick's honor.
