She is survived by: her sister-in-law Alma Vernon of Iowa City; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Gile (Steve), Jo Bergman (Al), Gary Vaux (Deanna), Howie Vernon (Tami), Vicki Vernon (Bart), Rick Berry (Jill), Pam Carver (John), Robert Vernon and Jim Vernon (Anna). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
