It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Bishop (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bishop and Agnes Bishop (Madden); his son Doug Bishop; his grandchildren, Amy Fedson and Matthew Bishop; and his siblings, Jim Bishop and Virginia Stoermer.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bishop; his children, Nancy Montague (Bill), David Bishop and Kathy Fedson; his grandchildren, Wyatt Montague (Elena Petrova), Emma Moody (JeMarcus), Lisa Bishop, Melissa Fedson, Michael Fedson, Sophie Bishop (Jay Bonetti) and Caitlin Bishop (David Derong); his great grandchildren, Danica Bishop and Alexander Bishop; and his sister-in-law Teresa Bishop.
