He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Peckler and Elizabeth Peckler; his daughter Amy Hohenshell; and his brothers, Lester "Chips" and Douglas Peckler.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Jackson; his daughters, Heidi Stolp (Tim) of Ankeny and Melinda LeFurge (Lance) of Ankeny; and his siblings, Michael Peckler of Cedar Rapids and Barbara Lopez (Robert) of Vacaville, CA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
