With sadness, we share the passing of Rollin Davis of Des Moines, Iowa. Rollin, born on June 2, 1938, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marlys Rae Garnett; his parents, John and Eva; and his siblings, Roger and Patricia.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Patty Boot; his children, Tim Davis (Ann), Julie Bird (Rick), Jana Nettleton (Jim) and Tom Davis (Janice); his grandchildren, Cale Davis (Haley), Sidney Joelson (Sean), Hannah Bird, Spencer Bird, Quincy Adli, Gunnar Davis (Kelsey), Graham Davis (Colin), Eleigh Davis and Emilyn Davis; and his great grandchildren, Rett, Baker Joelson, Bennett and Sutton Davis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Reformed Church (300 E 5th St, Prairie City, IA 50228). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
