It is with sadness that the passing of Rosalind Darensbourg of Des Moines, Iowa is shared. Rosalind, born on September 25, 1948 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on July 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bracy Darensbourg and Velma Darensbourg (Juge); her brother Lynn Darensbourg; and her son-in-law Daniel. She is survived by: her daughter Kamy Torres; her grandson Ivan Torres; and her sisters, Yvonne Darensbourg of Falls Church, Linda Lawrence of Jeffersonville and Veronica Darensbourg of Fayetteville, Georgia. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and great nephews; five bonus grandchildren.

Due to the road construction on Hickman Road, please allow extra time as you may need to take alternative routes to access the funeral home parking lot.

She really believed that those caretakes were angels for her as she battled with Parkinson's Disease.
