We are sad to announce that, on September 8, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Rose C. Pigneri (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Oelwein, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Aiello and Margherita Aiello (Scalise); her husband Tony Pigneri; and her siblings, Mary Aiello and Sam Aiello.
She is survived by: her children, Rocco Pigneri (Ann), Anthony Pigneri (Mary Beth), Tom Pigneri, Margaret Carson (Tim), Steve Pigneri (Molly) and Frank Pigneri; her sister Ann Aiello; and her sister-in-law Sue Aiello. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
After the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic lifted she joyfully attended Mass and received Communion once again at the facility.
In lieu of flowers, the Pigneri family requests donations be directed to the St. Anthony Parish Foundation or EWTN in loving memory of Rose.
