Rosemary Margaret Nesheim Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemary Margaret Nesheim of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Specht and Viola Specht (Duggan); her husbands, Clarence Ludlow Jr. and Phillip Nesheim; her son Wayne Andrew Ludlow; her granddaughter Kimberly Marie Nekola (Johnson); and her sisters, Eleanor M. Jackson and Shirley Marie Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Hill (Dennis), Gail Johnson (Charlie) and Diana Simmons (Steve); and her daughter-in-law Candy Ludlow. She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Rosemary's family to be used for a cause special to her.
