Ruth Calhoun Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 7, 2024, at the age of 98, Ruth Calhoun of Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wiseman and Leticia Wiseman (McWilliams); her husband Frank Calhoun; and her siblings, Vivian Bloomquist (Max), Marlene Domenig (George), Bud Wiseman (Barb) and Bob Wiseman (Annie).

She is survived by: her sons, James Calhoun (Sue) and Mark Calhoun (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Joshua Calhoun and Meredith Coe (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Tam and Miles Coe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Highland Park Little League.
