She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Adams and Lila Adams (Black); her husband John G. Peters Sr.; her daughter Linda; her great grandchild Jarod Peters; and her nephew Mike Geiger.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Jennifer) of Pleasant Hill, John Jr. (Tracey) of Des Moines, Lynette Gerdes (Craig) of Fort Madison, Janet Alexander (Mitch) and Norwoodville; and her sisters, Kay Ruckells of Muscatine, IA and Evelyn Crisp. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
