With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Kay Armstrong of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Hardy, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Saxton and Helene Saxton (Vought); her husband Jack Armstrong; and her niece Annette Fredregill. She is survived by: her children, Steven Armstrong (Kim), Melissa Thompson (Troy) and Melanie Armstrong; her grandchildren, Cameron, Morgan, Jared, Jack, Chloe and Madeline; and her sisters, Marilyn Bent and Jolene Fredregill (Fred).

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Iowa Lutheran Alumni Association.
